MediaMath seeks a Senior Marketing Manager with strong digital and account based marketing experience to support the North America and Global business in meeting and beating its direct revenue goals through great marketing. This role is based in our headquarters in New York City.  The responsibilities of this role include:


Partnering with Commercial, Account and Product organizations to devise a marketing plan that supports their strategic objectives and evolves with them. Specific initiative types typically include: 

  • Account Based Marketing: experienced in setting up and delivering ABM programs, you will take our ABM strategy to the next level, delivering personalized marketing to drive revenue from our named accounts list working to to both new business and client expansion goals.
  • Digital Campaigns: a digital veteran, you will be proficient in planning strategizing and running sophisticated digital campaigns across email, video, mobile, social (programmatic & direct) channels to support brand awareness, new business and client expansion goals.  You will be our ambassador for digital campaign excellence, demonstrating best practice use of our technology stack. 
  • Commercial Enablement: working closely with the commercial and account teams to generate clear, concise and localized sales collateral and content to support their efforts, you will help ensure the loop is closed between commercial activates and marketing, being accountable for marketing’s effectiveness in supporting the commercial cycle. 
  • Thought leadership: working with our executive team to develop engaging and inspirational thought leadership presentations in partnership with product and content marketing teams.
  • Events: possessing in-depth knowledge of the North America events space, you will develop and execute a robust paid/earned/owned events strategy alongside the Global Events Manger. From trade shows to client entertainment to bespoke MediaMath events, your experience will drive memorable and revenue impacting events for our business.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and develop the Marketing Associate, who will serve as your partner and support your efforts. 
  • Analyze key marketing metrics to ensure all initiatives meet agreed KPI’s, report results to the marketing team and wider business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: corporate marketing, commercial, product, account teams on key initiatives to plan and prioritize tasks.
  • Deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget, manage budget accruals, liaising with the finance team.
  • Uphold the MediaMath brand guidelines and values, working as a brand ambassador to ensure all guidelines are adhered to and all marketing and sales support materials are creatively engaging and relevant, while on brand.

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global technology team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.


  • At least 3 – 5 years’ experience working in a marketing management role.
  • Experience of using Marketing Automation software like Marketo; experience using programmatic marketing tools like MediaMath’s platform is desired.
  • Impeccable writing skills; ideally experience writing within the technology landscape or a similarly complex subject area; ability to convert our technical capabilities into clear, concise and compelling stories.
  • Online advertising industry knowledge is required and a passion for transforming the online ad space is strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills – an organized individual who can prioritize themselves and others, driving momentum for numerous projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing, demanding but fun environment, be prepared to work flexibly and to go the extra mile to get the job done.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills are required particularly in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Must be able to travel 20-40% of the time (frequent day trips, semi-regular overnight trips may be required).
