As part of the HR team, the Talent Acquisition group is critical to ensuring our pipelines are full; our positions filled with top talent, our partnerships with the business are strong, and our recruiting and sourcing strategies are innovative.


Your day to day with us:


Reporting directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Sourcer is responsible for working directly with the recruiting team and hiring managers to develop and create sourcing strategies to identify and solicit new, qualified prospects.


  • Identify and execute candidate generation strategies across multiple departments, including engineering, product, sales, finance, marketing and client services
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines using LinkedIn, social networks, Boolean logic, X-Ray searches and other tricks you have up your sleeve 

  • Pre-screen and qualify candidates and present to recruiters for further consideration
  • Act as a researcher and provide market insight to the team and help build pipelines for candidates based on this insight



This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.


  • Proven success with sourcing technologies (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, Entelo, GitHub, AI Platforms, etc.) and diversity of sources (postings, meetups, referrals, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, identifying and qualifying candidates at all levels
  • Strong understanding of business functions across Engineering, Product, non-tech and be aware of the current hiring trends and technologies.
  • You are a team player, self-motivated and can work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional ability to tell the company's story in a way that speaks to a job seeker's motivation, career goals, and interests.
  • Excellent organizational skills and follow-through internally and externally in order to provide a positive candidate and hiring manager experience
