We are currently seeking a highly qualified Agile Project Manager with experience in to manage engineering projects from our New York office.


  • Plan, manage and drive multiple project deliverables using agile software development processes
  • Work directly with Project, Product, Engineering teams to ensure that all targets and requirements are met
  • Constantly evaluate workflow, and identify opportunities to improve individual and team efficiencies
  • Act as Agile Coach, managing the end-to-end Scrum process of agile teams
  • Work with other department managers to meet the company’s project goals
  • Identify, document, and drive on process improvements, e.g. more accurate effort estimates, increased team velocity, etc.
  • Create written project plans for multi-faceted, projects complete with details about technical dependencies, deployment order, etc. 
  • Proactively roll our product releases by managing all standard Agile processes, e.g. Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, features & defect management.
  • Work with other Project/Program Managers to establish best practices and standardize project management practices where appropriate.
  • Effectively surface and communicate risks and issues to affected parties and actively participate in issue and conflict resolution.
  • Drive the successful delivery of special projects.
  • Ensures completion of all specific deliverables and tactical initiatives required to support the programs.
  • Communicates program initiatives and status across the business. Develop and manage communication and coordination of cross-functional teams across all areas. Defines and reports program roadmap, status, development issues and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Supports, manages, and influences continuous improvement of product/solution development/ go-to-market lifecycle process, practices and initiatives.



This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global technology team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, another STEM field, or Business, OR have a proven track record of demonstrating equivalent knowledge
  • At least 2-3 years’ direct experience in project management for Software Development Projects
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience working in an Agile environment
  • Strong attention to detail and extremely well-organized
  • Superb follow-through; propensity to approach tasks and goals with an ownership mentality
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to work well with teams & stakeholders


Preferred Skills

  • Exhibited competency managing projects in JIRA (or other software-based Project Management suites)
  • Experience with software-as-a-service products or platforms.
  • A personal interest in technology.
