We are currently seeking a highly qualified Project Manager to plan, manage and drive multiple project deliverables for our Data Platform team using agile software development processes, constantly evaluate workflow, and identify opportunities to improve individual and team efficiencies

MediaMath’s Data Platform enables advertisers to access the raw, event-level data generated through the TerminalOne platform in a tool-agnostic way. By leveraging cloud resources such as Amazon Web Services, clients can build value-added analytics services on top of MediaMath data with a minimum of developer time, money or hassle.  


This high impact role will develop and drive an Agile Project Management strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy.  Through technical credibility, the right person will ensure our talented Engineers have a solid understanding of and commitment to the overall methodology.


We work in a fast-paced environment and are seeking someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a distributed team. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with a passion for advertising technology and solving complex business and technical challenges. The right person will embody Agile principles and lead by example.


  • Work directly with Project, Product, Engineering teams to ensure that all targets and requirements are met
  • Act as Agile Coach, managing the end-to-end Scrum process of agile teams
  • Work with other department managers to meet the company’s project goals
  • Identify, document, and drive on process improvements, e.g. more accurate effort estimates, increased team velocity, etc.
  • Create written project plans for multi-faceted, projects complete with details about technical dependencies, deployment order, etc. 
  • Proactively roll our product releases by managing all standard Agile processes, e.g. Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, features & defect management.
  • Work with other Project/Program Managers to establish best practices and standardize project management practices where appropriate.
  • Effectively surface and communicate risks and issues to affected parties and actively participate in issue and conflict resolution.
  • Drive the successful delivery of special projects.
  • Ensures completion of all specific deliverables and tactical initiatives required to support the programs.
  • Communicates program initiatives and status across the business. Develop and manage communication and coordination of cross-functional teams across all areas. Defines and reports program roadmap, status, development issues and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Supports, manages, and influences continuous improvement of product/solution development/ go-to-market lifecycle process, practices and initiatives.


This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global technology team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.



  • STEM Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 2-3 years’ direct Agile experience with big data software-as-a-service products [online advertising technology highly preferred]


  • Exhibited competency managing projects in JIRA (or other software-based Project Management suites).
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Strong attention to detail and extremely well-organized
  • Superb follow-through; propensity to approach tasks and goals with an ownership mentality
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to work well with teams & stakeholders
