MediaMath seeks a thoughtful, high-impact contributor with exceptional analytical, communication, program management, and client management skills. As an Engagement Associate at MediaMath, you will support and learn from account owners and operational leads for your book of business. Engagement Associates are dedicated, client-centric resources charged with coordinating the delivery of value to MediaMath’s clients through the activation of internal specialty groups as well as external partners. In partnership with Engagement Managers and/or Engagement Directors, the EA contributes to the execution and evolution of strategic/technical joint roadmaps for high-value clients, and must possess the ability to develop and deepen relationships with both operational and executive-level contacts. The EA is a generalist with high levels of competency in a variety of marketing disciplines including strategy, campaign management, analytics, and attribution and measurement.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support Engagement Manager and/or Engagement Director in leading stakeholders from internal specialty groups and external partners to deliver against value driven account roadmaps. Help manage project progress against agreed timelines and coordinate and control activities to ensure projects are delivered on-time/budget
  • Become resident expert at using TerminalOne, MediaMath’s media trading platform, and articulate value proposition to all levels of a client organization
  • Understand and communicate relevant new products, features and capabilities as they become available and ensure successful deployment and activation on your clients
  • Serve as the MediaMath institutional knowledge hub for clients in your book of business
  • Own and develop strong relationships with client mid-tier management
  • Serve as client’s centralized, day-to day point of contact
  • Understand and champion client goals by
    • Enabling partner solutions such as dynamic creative & server-to-server integrations
    • Mapping the right MediaMath solution to the right client initiative
  • Work with the Engagement Director and/or Engagement Manager to grow client relationships and meet and exceed revenue goals

 

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global technology team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; (Preferably in quantitative discipline Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, etc.)
  • 1-3 years of experience in online advertising account management, marketing consulting and/or brand management or yield optimization
  • Strong communication skills; personable; charismatic
  • Experience with marketing campaign design, campaign management, and analysis preferred
  • Knowledge of the online media business and underlying technology and research.
  • Strong analytical skills. Must be comfortable with MS Excel, data analysis, and internet technologies.
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Diligent work ethic. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong consultative sales skills, personable, charismatic
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment
  • Must be able to travel 10 - 20% of the time (frequent day trips, semi-regular overnights required)
