Overview

MediaMath is a global technology company that's leading the movement to revolutionize traditional marketing and empowering marketers to unleash the power of goal-based marketing at scale, transparently across the enterprise. Our platform - TerminalOne Marketing Operating System - handles billions of transactions every hour and hundreds of millions of internet users every day, which means every solution must be built to scale. Our breakthroughs create new marketplaces and solve long-standing problems in an industry that is constantly evolving. Our engineers are building the leading technology platform to power the new digital marketing ecosystem, and we are looking for driven, curious innovators to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, creative and strategic-minded Product Marketing professional to join our Product Marketing team, reporting to the VP of Product Marketing within the Product organization. 5-7+ years’ experience in Product Marketing strongly preferred, especially within the ad tech or digital space.

As a Product Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for MediaMath products. You will craft the messaging and positioning for products. You'll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.  In your role as a Product Marketing Director you will be the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.

This role will engage regularly with key stakeholders including Product leads and leadership, the Commercial, Engagement and Account teams, MediaMath’s Marketing team, and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure messaging is aligned across the Product organization and all other divisions, toward the goal of a cohesive and client-centric narrative. The role is primarily focused on the North America market, but also supports MediaMath’s global teams and clients as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in market, and equips our Client Success Organization with a benefits-driven narrative for how our products solve client challenges
  • Sales Enablement: Communicate the value proposition of our products to the Commercial, Engagement and Account teams, and to external clients and partners
  • Inspire creativity in the team to engage with internal and external audiences in new ways.
  • Contribute significantly to ongoing creation of the Product Roadmap by understanding market trends, client demands, product adoption rates, revenue goals and more
  • Build materials to support the selling and ongoing usage of our products, from presentations to case studies to training decks (this role is not responsible for client-specific pitches, however)
  • Manage planning and execution of product launches, and managing the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Work with Product leads on offerings already in-market, to increase usage, ensure best practices are being used, and ensure customer questions are being answered
  • Market intelligence – be the expert on your buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to out-compete them
  • Assist with branding and naming, and ensure consistency of terminology across the org
  • Ensure that all relevant teams across the organization are kept informed of Product activity, by compiling and distributing comprehensive communications and documentation
  • Collaborate with Marketing team on planning and executing publicity and thought leadership initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders; understand differing viewpoints and needs of each to ensure organization understands and adopts new products and releases

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global technology team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.
