Overview

MediaMath is a global technology company that's leading the movement to revolutionize traditional marketing and empowering marketers to unleash the power of goal-based marketing at scale, transparently across the enterprise. Our platform - TerminalOne Marketing Operating System - handles billions of transactions every hour and hundreds of millions of internet users every day, which means every solution must be built to scale. Our breakthroughs create new marketplaces and solve long-standing problems in an industry that is constantly evolving. Our engineers are building the leading technology platform to power the new digital marketing ecosystem, and we are looking for driven, curious innovators to join our team.

We’re looking for a seasoned thought leader to shape a core UI product here at MediaMath. You’ll be empowered to make a real difference from scoping through delivery, support and constant improvement of our product. You’re well spoken, team-oriented, and can effortlessly navigate interactions from C-class to application engineer. You’ve got a solid background in web technologies, an eye for user experience, and a vision for how a successful product should work. Sounds like you? Read on!

Responsibilities

  • Developing airtight solutions: You’ll consult with Product leads and application engineers to break down business requirements into deliverables.
  • Connecting people: Liaise with technical leads from a variety of disciplines to get the job done - from infrastructure all the way up to the UI layer
  • Protecting the product: You’ll balance business priorities with technical feasibility, then communicate the best, most strategic way forward
  • Directing resourcing decisions: Working with our project managers to assess and assign appropriate engineering resources for feature development
  • Keeping us DRY: Recognising and promoting opportunities for cross-functional engineering teams to create shared solutions

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global technology team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Solid history of delivering web applications, with a focus on the UI stack
  • Fundamental understanding of modern javascript development
  • Understanding of full stack development
  • Experience with UX/UI design patterns and modular component design
  • Experience with ES2015+, React and Redux
  • A natural communicator with a passion for great user experiences
  • A professional engineer who understands the importance of well-tested code and rigorous coding practices.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience managing a sizable codebase
  • Experience working closely with UX designers (or some design skills/experience, in general)
  • Experience working closely with Product owners (or experience developing a product)

How do we reward our outstanding Mathletes?
