Overview

MediaMath’s strength is in numbers.  Our technology analyzes 200 billion customer opportunities daily– more volume than the top 10 stock exchanges in the world, combined.

Over 700 Mathletes in 16 global offices are trusted by two-thirds of the Fortune 500 and partner with thousands of marketers to ensure brands connect with right audiences, in the right place, in the right time.

We believe consumers want to have meaningful conversations with their favorite and yet-to-be-discovered brands across all digital touchpoints. Our omnichannel, integrated programmatic platform unites digital media and big data to maximize the return on every marketing dollar spent by making advertising relevant, personalized, measurable and controllable.   From inventing the DSP category in 2007 to being named a DMP Forrester Challenger (our first year participating in the DMP Wave!) in 2017, we continue to deliver results for marketers more quickly and accurately than any other solution.

Technology is changing the way brands interact with consumers.  MediaMath is powering that change.  Come be a part of it!

MediaMath is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance leader to transform our engineering organization and development culture through automation.   The VP, QA will establish modern QA CICD processes, standards and measures to enable world class automation for regression and feature testing in our highly-distributed environment.

From the definition of quality to the developing, collecting, and reporting of the objective metrics required to assure it, you will ultimately be responsible for driving quality across all development functions within Product and Engineering. By understanding how all the various parts of the MediaMath software ecosystem work, you will develop QA approaches that fit the overall strategy, oversee the execution of test plans, and monitor the progress of testing.

This high influence, high impact role will develop and drive a high-level strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy.  Through technical credibility, the right person will ensure our talented Engineers have a solid understanding of and commitment to the overall strategy.

Responsibilities

This role will require that you…

  • Lead the development, establishment, and application of quality assurance measures and best practices for new and existing applications
  • Participate in the process to determine scope and velocity needed to ensure quality continuously
  • Build out technologies and infrastructure that support the processes of code build, test, and deployment
  • Drive continuity between test and development environments to increase test validity
  • Improve product delivery cycles through integration of testing into the agile delivery cycle
  • Improve the overall QA process by identifying gaps or inefficiencies in workflows and drive mitigation plans to eliminate them
  • Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering
  • Direct analysis of formal test results to discover and report any defects, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws
  • Establish defect triage process to analyze defects and drive actions needed for appropriate corrective action
  • Establish metrics to determine readiness, quality and operability of software, systems and products
  • Train, develop, coach and mentor the Engineering Quality staff

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.
