We are seeking a VP of Media Product, Inventory with expertise around auction dynamics and market place management to create real value for customers, employees and shareholders by changing the way we engage with the market on the supply and demand side.

 

Currently distributed across Supply, Product and Integration teams, the VP of IMO will create a centralized Analytic Operations unit with rigorous statistical analysis that will allow MediaMath to more quickly identify and uncover insights and enhance the Exchange Analytics organization as a valued strategic business partner.

 

A strong knowledge of technical market standards, including programmatic and RTB is required for this newly created role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Bringing analytics & operations strategy to a centralized Analytic Operations unit that will drive the business forward
  • Manage and sophisticate monetization with partners
  • Evangelizing what we do by leveraging our supply as a competitive differentiator in front of clients
  • Educating and supporting internal and external customers; including Supply and Product

 

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.

Qualifications

Background

  • 5+ years of leadership experience running operations or product in a publisher with multiple sites, exchanges, DSP, or SSPs; 

    if lacking product experience, strong appreciation of product will be required to build great Media Inventory products

  • Managing people and projects across reporting lines
  • Experience building a modern ad network (mobile, or similar)

Skills

  • Ability to set strategic direction and execute against it
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts
  • Capable of designing, negotiating and closing complex and large scale deals
  • Ability to provide rich domain expertise and insight into the supply industry
  • Passion for building and leading high-functioning, engaged teams
