We are seeking a highly detail and customer service oriented Benefits Coordinator to assist with the administration of all global benefits and retirement programs. 


This newly created role assists employees with benefits enrollment/renewal and questions, manages all insurance billing, maintains employee records in HRIS and assists with functions of HR operations.


From responding to benefits questions from employees to ensuring accuracy of data feeds the right person works at a quick-pace with accuracy and can handle multi-tasking with a smile.

  • Assists the Benefits Manager with administering the various global employee benefits programs, such as group health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k)/pension, and wellness benefits.
  • Ensures the accuracy of benefits enrollments in HRIS and file feed connections to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information. This role will be responsible for correcting file feed errors and will assist with benefit enrollment tracking for locations where file feeds are not established.
  • Assist with preparing communication and educational material regarding the benefits package and HR operational initiatives including maintaining the benefit pages the company intranet.
  • Respond to benefit inquiries from employees and assist with resolving claim issues.
  • Verify the invoices and premiums timely for all group insurance policies through running reports and completing the self-administered billing templates for applicable lines of coverage.
  • Assists with then annual open enrollment process.
  • Assist with the functions of HR operations which may include employment verifications, reporting, payroll processing, data input and data integrity.
  • Prepare data for governmental regulatory reports and filings that pertain to benefits (Affordable Care Act, 5500, Workers Compensation, etc.) and review and respond to unemployment claims with appropriate documentation.
  • Administers new hire onboarding including set up in HRIS, new hire orientations, and benefit enrollments and off boarding departing employees with benefit terminations.


This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.



  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2 years of experience in HR and/or benefits administration.


  • Knowledge of employee benefit procedures and current regulations [medical, dental, vision, Group risk / insurances: short & long-term disability, life and AD&D, administrate FMLA, COBRA, and other benefits like commuter, flexible spending, charitable deductions]


  • Eager to learn the functions of HR operations.
  • The ability to multi-task and problem-solve efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer/employee service.
  • Detail orientated.
