Overview

AdLib is looking for a Director of Business Development with a background in the programmatic media space.

Founders of multiple early stage fast paced start-ups, we are energetic digital marketing professionals with established careers and big networks of some of the world’s most innovative marketing, tech, and business leaders. Plus, we like to have fun and are really excited about what we are doing!

AdLib partners with some of the biggest agencies and platforms in the Influencer and Content marketing space. We are incubated by one of the largest advertising technology companies in the world, MediaMath, and are headquartered in New York.

This is a great opportunity for someone with business development, sales, or account management experience and a history of hitting and exceeding revenue goals to get in on the ground floor of a fast-paced start up!

Responsibilities

  • Client Management
    • Act as client’s primary point of contact, answering questions in a timely matter while providing first class customer satisfaction
    • Develop initial account plan based on excellent business and functional diagnosis, that result in the success of the clients in your book of business
    • Support the client RFP process by collaborating and brainstorming on the creation of strategic proposals to design, iterate, and evolve programs that address client needs and priorities while creating value
    • Support clients in the design, launch, and management and of programmatic campaigns, delivering campaign diligence forms to and working closely with the campaign management team to ensure campaigns are successful
  • Client Acquisition
    • Plan, direct, and coordinate sales activities for pipeline opportunities - managing your business pipeline effectively and developing valuable new business partnerships
    • Hit and exceed a personal revenue target and KPI’s for business you win and manage
    • Lead the creation of proposals for incoming RFPs by collaborating on media plans, programs, and partnership opportunities to meet and exceed advertiser and partner objectives
    • Participate in the formulation of business plans that center on value creation, and articulate value propositions AdLib can offer to the client’s business
  • Business Operations & Success
    • Brainstorm on new and unique marketing strategies and participate in the continued development, engagement, and growth of our Social Media community and web presence
    • Become an expert on programmatic media, influencer marketing, and content marketing, with an ability to articulate the AdLib value proposition to all stakeholders at client organizations
    • Work with the AdLib marketing team to assist in the creation and management of effective go to market collateral and case studies

Qualifications

Background

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a fast-paced online advertising agency or technology provider
  • A proven history of hitting and exceeding revenue goals
  • A proven history of successfully partnering with agencies, influencer, or content marketers to successfully deliver against brand objectives & strategic goals
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment

Skills

  • Active contacts in both direct client and across agencies which can be converted to live business for AdLib
  • Strong understanding of advanced digital advertising campaign management, tagging, and reporting
  • Personally embraces social media and is proficient with emerging digital/social media trends and technology
