The MediaMath Demand Side Platform [DSP] is a large part of our product portfolio and it is crucial to our continued success as an organization. The DSP has purview over the myriad ways we buy media, and the tools and frameworks by which we manage our access to media. 


We are seeking a VP, Media Platform who can drive the strategic vision for the next phase of our DSP product evolution. This person will be responsible for ensuring that our offering is constantly improving and evolving to meet the needs of our internal and external clients.


Working closely with engineering, engineering and executives in sales and internal services, the VP, Media Platform will deliver products that add value and generate revenue for the company. The VP will also be responsible for providing clarity to the organization about how the DSP team’s products and features work, what problems they can solve, and how they align to MediaMath’s product and company strategy.


The ideal candidate is a customer-centric, ad tech product veteran. They have demonstrated success building enterprise software solutions in mid-sized companies, in dynamic industries.   • Be accountable for the success of MediaMath’s industry-leading DSP
  • Set the strategic direction for the DSP; have a clear understanding of the competitive landscape and what’s coming up next for the industry
  • Collaborate deeply with various stakeholders and customers to ensure the direction and execution plan is aligned to various business needs
  • Execute effectively, delivering product capabilities through to customer impact

Product Roadmap

  • Manage the DSP team to set and deliver the product roadmap
  • Work with clients directly to ensure product-market fit and product adoption; ensure clients have a voice in product evolution
  • Seamlessly coordinate with other product teams to ensure product is properly integrated and maximizes the value of the overall MediaMath offering
  • Explore and lead the integration of partner capabilities into our offering, to enhance our strategic advantage and offer more value to clients

Drive Business Growth

  • Responsible for the commercial success of the DSP
  • Enable clients to find success with the DSP by working closely with MediaMath’s Client Success teams, equipping them with product knowledge and vision to drive adoption and revenue
  • Solicit strategic opportunities for new and existing business growth
  • Lead new business growth as measured by net growth of revenue quarter over quarter
  • Assist evolution of sales positioning and launch of new features, regions, and programs

Evolve Commercialization Strategy

  • Work with Product Marketing to continue to develop go-to-market, positioning, and pricing to maximize revenue growth
  • Act as stakeholder for collateral development with Product Marketing, to ensure positioning is clear, consistent, scalable, and repeatable


This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.



  • 10+ years of product expertise, ideally in ad tech or related fields
  • 7-10 years of proven experience in end to end product management through measurable to client impact (Sales Support, Client Services, Product Marketing)
  • Experience building and managing enterprise software for marketing clients
  • Experience managing a team


  • Demonstrated track record of excellent working relationship with Engineering to drive a high-quality product development process
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, including Engineering, Product, Client Success, and Senior Leadership
  • Strong manager and coach of people and projects across reporting lines
  • Must be a “doer” with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude
  • Highly organized with a bias towards results – outcomes, not outputs!
  • Excellent influencing skills and proven collaborator
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Well versed in, opinionated on, and able to anticipate industry concepts and trends
