MediaMath seeks a thoughtful, high-impact contributor with exceptional analytical, communication skills with a positive attitude plus a willingness to learn.  As an Engagement Manager at MediaMath, you will support and learn from account owners and operational leads for your book of business. Engagement Managers are dedicated, client-centric resources charged with managing operational tasks for an assigned book of business. 


In partnership with Engagement Associates and/or Engagement Directors, the Engagement Manager contributes to the execution and evolution of strategic/technical joint roadmaps for high-value clients, and must possess the ability to develop and deepen relationships with both day to day and senior level executive-level contacts. The Engagement Manager is a generalist that will be exposed to a variety of marketing disciplines including digital strategy, campaign management, analytics, attribution and measurement.


  • Establish a consistent and collaborative MediaMath presence and act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Develops strong relationships with day to day ad agency and/or direct advertiser contacts responsible for campaigns; track and solve client issuesPrioritizes time based on revenue/margin potential; effectively and appropriately enforces SLAs across the client base
  • Partner with clients to understand end clients’ business goals, marketing objectives, and competitive constraints
  • Pre and post campaign management support to clients and internal teams
  • Focus on operations to ensure traction and follow-through
  • Strong understanding of & coordination with internal MediaMath teams (Platform Strategy & Operations, Ad Operations, sales & sales operations, product specialists) to execute campaigns and internal workflows
  • Demonstrates understanding of how data unlocks answers and insights that drive internal and external discussions on both quantitative and qualitative matters
  • Aggregate performance metrics and review campaigns to create weekly, monthly, and annual client insights and strategy optimization reports
  • Develop strong understanding of MediaMath products, opportunities, and internal processes as well as industry news and trends, especially those related to MediaMath’s client base
  • Toubleshooting & QA of client requests including campaign performance & delivery, targeting tactics, supply, scalability, data opportunities, etc
  • Provide inputs and thought leadership around campaign design, including requirements for success and optimal strategies to achieve client goals
  • Mentors, trains and coaches one or more Engagement Associates, as assigned


This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.


  • 3-5 years’ experience in similar position in Online Advertising/Marketing; Account Management experience for an enterprise technology platform business a strong plus
  • Proven success in client management. This includes managing a book of business optimally, cross-selling and up-selling existing clients, and maintaining a strong track record of client renewals
  • Knowledge & understanding of the digital media/ad tech space, including key technologies/platforms and industry players (DSPs, DMPs, ad servers, publishers, etc.) a strong plus
  • Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to ingest requests, and guide clients toward identifying & solving their underlying business questions.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated; desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
