We are seeking a SVP, Sales Strategy & Ops [SVP, SSO] who can drive the strategic vision for the next phase of our enterprise sales strategy and operations evolution.


This person will be responsible for developing and institutionalizing an enterprise discipline to our talented Sales, Operations and Professional Service teams, ensuring that our strategy, operations and services are constantly improving and evolving to meet the needs of our enterprise clients.  


The SVP, SSO will identify opportunities for sales and operations process improvement and facilitate the successful implementation of new programs by ensuring a change-management approach that is fully integrated into program design and decision making, both informing and enabling strategic direction.  This includes data and analytics, talent development, and process optimization.


Reporting to the Global Head of Sales and Accounts, the SVP, SOO coaches and mentors sales leadership to identify market and team-specific opportunities to accelerate people growth and improve sales efficiency.  This requires an intimate understanding of the human side of change management — the alignment of our company’s culture, values, people, and behaviors — to encourage the desired results and foster an organization of continuous process improvement. 


From inventing the DSP category in 2007 to being named a DMP Forrester Challenger (our first year participating in the DMP Wave!) in 2017, MediaMath continues to deliver results for marketers more quickly and accurately than any other solution. 


This newly created role is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious individual, well versed in managing the functions essential to the overall productivity and effectiveness of a sales org, to massively accelerate our growth.


  • Institutionalize and continuously evolve an enterprise discipline and sales strategy roadmap for Sales, Operations and Professional Service teams
  • Evolve sales reporting and other meaningful internal intelligence to drive actionable insight on the sales business, people, and process.
  • Lead enterprise change management to build organizational understanding of changes, establish support, and effectively implement evolved models.
  • Optimize Sales leadership talent [Sales, Service, Accounts] through coaching and development of Regional MDs / VPs of Sales/CE/Platform Solutions



  • 10+ years of related work experience in strategic enterprise sales and operations 
  • Track record of leading, coaching, and developing high performing, distributed, Sales, Ops & Professional Services teams


  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and concepts
  • A deep commitment to business and functional diagnosis and solution design
  • Well versed in, opinionated on, and able to anticipate enterprise concepts and trends


  • Personable, curious, charismatic, and positive
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment
  • Solution oriented and creative thinking skills to evaluate problem and to drive win-win outcomes
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
